Wow! Time really does fly!  It has been almost three weeks since my last post regarding the wide floral ribbon that I purchased some time ago.  Here is the link to that last post, which has given rise to this one. Well, the big reveal is finally here! I ended up making a wide brim hat, a jacket, skirt, pull-on under shirt, draw string purse, custom painted shoes and faux pearl jewelry set to add the finishing touches. Making it was a labor of love being that it was a lot of hand sewing to get the tiny details just right. As I was digging through my trim drawer, I stumbled upon a spool of wide trim ribbon that I had purchased some time ago.  I can remember having big plans for it, but after getting it home, as with a number of things, it too found its way into my "I'll get to you one day" pile and was temporarily lost until recently. I am now in the process of actually making a doll outfit from it.  It is a feel and go kind of thing, but once I am done I will be back to post what became of this beautiful trim.  In the meantime, take a look at it and formulate a vision of what type of doll outfit you would make, and then you can compare it to my creation later to see just how similar or different your vision was in comparison to mine.
