Wow! Time really does fly!  It has been almost three weeks since my last post regarding the wide floral ribbon that I purchased some time ago.  Here is the link to that last post, which has given rise to this one. Well, the big reveal is finally here! I ended up making a wide brim hat, a jacket, skirt, pull-on under shirt, draw string purse, custom painted shoes and faux pearl jewelry set to add the finishing touches. Making it was a labor of love being that it was a lot of hand sewing to get the tiny details just right. I will be listing this on my Etsy site in the next few days.  Anyway,  Check out the pictures below and visit my Etsy store to view this and other products.  Thanks for stopping by!🥰

The Dolls And A Visit To Park Molsdorf Castle

 Beautiful Gated Backdrop

Today I am going to write a few words about one of my favorite photo backdrops.  I do the doll photography for my Mom's website enchantedstyles.etsy.com.  She makes the doll clothes and it's ultimately up to me to do my best to find a background that paints a picture or tells a story in the minds of our viewing audiences that blends well with the doll clothing that she enjoys making.  I don't know a thing about sewing, so I somehow ended up being in charge of taking the photographs.  I don't consider myself all that great when it comes to photography.  For example, I know nothing about lighting other than if I break a bulb, I definitely need to replace it.  I like to use these high powered bulbs, that I purchase from Amazon.  They last a long time and give out excellent lighting, but it's really awful when I break one.  I always feel as though I need to get out the hazmat suit...LOL!  Anyway, back to the backdrop, I really enjoyed myself taking pictures using it.  One of the things that I liked most about this backdrop is that the photographer gave an even cut to the ground spacing (if that is such a thing). In other words, it was cropped perfectly to where all I had to do was add my floor extension along the front. Thankfully, I already had a cloth backdrop that had pavers that blended well enough, which helped me to extend my flooring along the front.  I tried to do a bit of research as to where this shot was taken. From the little information that I was able to dig up, it is a park located in Germany known as Park von Schloss Molsdorf or Park of Molsdorf Castle. I hope I am correct. If not, just chime in below.  It is a beautiful entrance and I am glad our dolls took me on an adventure to see and learn about it.  Once again, big thanks to the photographer for sharing such beautiful work and allowing me to use it.  Check out the doll photos below and visit our Instagram page for more doll photo adventures that we hope will make you smile and downright laugh out loud 😀.
